Tulaelectroprivod, CC on the I-st Tula Economic Forum (15.12.2006)

November, 28-30 Tula hosted the I-st Tula Economic Forum “Breakthrough Strategies: Innovations Plus the Potential of the Traditions” which can be by right considered as significant as the ones in St.-Petersburg, Kuban, Krasnoyarsk – both due to the number of guests (more than 1 thou. delegates from 16 countries) and to the number of projects (more than 145 projects totaling about 200 bln. rubles). The participants of the forum included the Tula region governor V. D. Dudka and the Minister for Economic Development and Commerce of the RF G.O. Gref.

Tulaelectroprivod, CC was represented in the exhibition devoted to this event together with the other companies of the Leninsky district. Moreover the plant representatives took part in the round-table discussions “Machine-Building Complex of the Tula Region – the Potential Growth Field for the Region Economy” where the following issues were discussed:

- machine-building complex of the Tula region: the present state and its prospects;

- raising of competitiveness and export potential of the machine-building companies in the region;

- involvement of Tula plants into the process of formation of machine-building clusters;

- strategical investment projects in machine-building.
