Electric Actuators of EP4 Series. General Technical Characteristics

AC three-phase mains power supply, 380V, 50Hz, permitted deviation of voltage ranges from minus 5 to plus 10%, and permitted deviation of frequency is within ±2.5%.

The electric actuators ensure safe operation in any spatial position.

When rotating the electric actuator handwheel, the force on the handwheel ring does not exceed 150 N in case of no-load condition on the electric actuator output shaft, or 400 N in case of loading of the electric actuator.The engagement force of the handwheel at the above mentioned loads of the electric actuator does not exceed 350 N.

Operating modes:

• short-term startup mode with 15 minutes’ load duration (mode S2-15 min);
• short-term startup mode with 30 minutes’ load duration (mode S2-30 min);
• intermittent startup mode, the duty cycle (DC) being no longer than 25% of the load duration which never exceeds 10 minutes, and the average load moment level within the motion sector being not more than 33% of the moment M2 (mode S4-DC 25%);
• intermittent startup mode with frequent startups (900 startups per hour), the inertia constant F1 (the relationship between the load inertia and the inertia moment of the electric motor rotor and of the electric actuator movable parts connected with it) amounting to 4 max, DC – not more than 25% and the average load moment level - not more than 30% of the moment M2 (mode S4-DC 25%, 900 startups per hour, F1<4), (the mode is acceptable only for the electric actuators meant for stop-regulating valves).

Inaccuracy of the torque switches actuation (deviation of the actual torque level within the output shaft actuating the switch from the torque level set in the process of adjustment) does not exceed ±10% of the set torque level within the range of the torque limiter setting.

Inaccuracy of the position switches actuation (deviation of the actual position of the output shaft at the moment of the switch actuation from the position set in the process of adjustment):

• for the electric actuators with the control module of Ý1 series: not more than ±5 deg.;
• for the electric actuators with the control module of Ý2 series: not more than ±2 deg., the position switches setting resolution is 30 deg. of rotation angle of the electric actuator output shaft;
• for the electric actuators with the mechanical control module of M1 series: not more than ±1% of the set upper level of the position switches.

Sound-pressure level of the electric actuator within 1 m. from its body during idle strokes does not exceed 68 dB.

Provided normal functioning of the electric actuator noise level does not exceed the standard envisaged for type «Á» according to GOST R 51522.

The level of protection from penetration of impurities and water complies with the requirements of IP67 (IP68 optional) level according to GOST 14254.

Reliability:

• The probability of failure-free operation within 4 years after running 3000 cycles is 0.98 min, in case all the requirements and conditions of operation are complied with.
• The designed lifetime of the electric actuator is 30 years min, provided good maintenance as stipulated by the service manual and compliance with the permitted operating modes.
• Operational life (mean life before failure) in the permitted operating modes and conditions is 10000 cycles min.
