January, 2007, the linear electric actuator EPP-3 , one of the new developments of the plant, was tested on the test bench of Armagus, JSC in Gus-Khrustalny. For the tests the control valve 25ч945нжDN125.PN16 produced by Armagus, JSC, with the test sample of EPP-3 installed on it, was mounted on the hydraulic bench (operation environment - water under 1.6 MPa).
The tests results have lived up to the engineers' expectations: the electric actuator EPP-3 is accute in setting and user-friendly, serviceable in any operation mode and maintains reliable and failure-free operation of the valves.

The electric actuator EPP-3 is serviceable, meets the technical requirements set by Armagus, JSC, on December, 15, 2005 and can be mounted on valve element(s) 25ч945нж(п)DN125.PN16; valve gate(s) 30с(нж)41нж(п)DN080,100,150.PN16; and switch gear produced by Armagus, JSC.
Based on the tests results it is recommended to Tulaelectroprivod, CC to start mass production of electric actuators of EPP-3 series to be installed on the above mentioned items produced by Armagus, JSC.
N.B. We have already received certificate and started mass production of general-purpose linear electric actuators EPP-1
