It has become a tradition to hold sessions of the shop superintendents of all nuclear power plants of Russia every year under leading of the concern "Rosenergoatom". The specialists of NPP summarize the results of their work and exchange the experience that was achieved during the year. The session of the heads of the turbine departments of NPP took place at the beginning of February of this year. Besides the representatives of the concern "Rosenergoatom" and its departments in the session took part the specialists from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Armenia, Czechia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Finland. While beginning the session the deputy of the chief director - the technical director of the concern "Rosenergoatom" N.M.Sorokin noted the importance of the questions concerning the perfection of the work of the turbine equipment of NPP, increase of safety. As an example of an effective modernization N.M.Sorokin mentioned the fact of the prolongation of the operation term of exploiting only of 11 energetic blocks to maintain 5 Gw. In the extensive program of the session the attention was also given to those organizations and adjoining enterprises that take part in development and production of equipment and technologies for nuclear energy. The representatives of the CC "Tulaelectroprivod"- the technical director of the enterprise Shilyaev S.G. and the head of the department Zalygaev A.P. took part in the session with a report about the suggested events on modernization and prolongation of the resource of NPP.
