June,6,2007 a scientific-practical seminar and a round-table discussion "The Condition and Development of Normative Technical Base in the Armature Engineering" was held in the context of XI international specialized exposition "ROS-GAS-Expo" in Saint-Petersburg. The seminar was organized by the Scientific and Industrial Valve Manufacturer Association (NPAA). In the seminar took part the administrators and the leading specialists of reinforce factories of Russia, design institutes, Central Design Office of Valve Engineering, editorial staff of the trade magazine "Valve Engineering" and several largest Russian suppliers of pipeline valves equipment such as CC "Saratovenergomashkomplekt", LC "Gaskomplektimpex" and others. Among 70 participants of the seminar were the representatives of CC "Tulaelectroprivod": the technical director Shilyaev S.G. and the head of the department Zalygaev A.P. In the context of the seminar the following questions were discussed: The project of special technical regulations "About the Safety of Pipeline Valves". The system of reference designation (coding) of pipeline valves. Branch standardization. The questions of harmonization with international standards. Other questions were discussed at the seminar concerning standardization in the valve engineering.
