The electric actuator EP4 is designed for remote and local control over stop and stop-regulating pipeline valves of multi-turn type as well as for part-turn and linear valves when used in combination with auxiliary mechanisms.
The electric actuator EP4 has 3 versions different in the type of the control system:
- with electronic smart control module (ESCM) – series E1;
- with electronic limit switches module (ELSM) – series E2;
- with mechanical limit switches module (MLSM) - series M1.
The smart module has a number of functions: control over the electric actuator, including regulation of the position and velocity of the output shaft, emergency turn-off of the electric motor, registration and display of information on the history of the electric actuator functioning, data transceiving in the process of communication with the upper level control system, through the digital communication channel (interface RS485, protocol Modbus) inclusive; if the mains power is switched off the system provides nonvolatile control over the output shaft position.
The electric actuator ÝÏ4 has an oil-flooded reducer which doesn’t require technical maintenance, a motor specially developed to combine advanced technical characteristics and enhanced protection level from exposure and overload, and an anticondensate heater.
Regardless of the type of the control system the electric actuator EP4 can be manufactured in the explosion-proof version with implosion level 1ExdIIBT4 according to GOST R 51330.0-99.
